It is actually magenta, using scientific terminology,, which is red + blue.
Magenta is found in
spectroscopic binary star pair, one red and one blue 4.8 spectroscopic binary stars https://talk.galaxyzoo.org/#/boards/BGZ0000001/discussions/DGZ0000wrb?page=4

Extremely distant spiral or quasar galaxies of z=1. Often lensed galaxies are magenta. http://cas.sdss.org/dr7/en/tools/explore/obj.asp?id=587724650875453828 http://www.galaxyzooforum.org/index.php?topic=275811.msg355407#msg355407
Since this is faint, and has a redshift photoz of 0.5 which is still a bit close, but maybe the photoz is slightly wrong...
I would think distant galaxy.
